HANDMADE CERAMICS

Ceramics classes

Handbuilding class
€25.00
  • Duration: 1 hour 50 minutes

  • Clay: Lithuanian yellow clay – high plasticity and easy to work with, perfect for beginners and those looking to refine their skills.

These handbuilding ceramics classes are centered around slow, hands-on work with clay in a calm and supportive environment. It is important to me to create a space where you can fully relax, focus, and be present in the moment, allowing the making process to unfold naturally.

Rather than following fixed exercises, the classes are idea-led. You are encouraged to bring your own ideas, and based on them, I will guide you toward the handbuilding technique that suits your project best — whether that is slab building, pinch pots, coiling, or modeling.

Throughout the process, I support you individually, helping with form, structure, and technical decisions. You will also learn the basics of working with clay — how it responds to touch, drying, heat, and firing — and how these factors influence durability and function.

The classes are suitable for both beginners and more experienced makers, offering space to explore clay at your own pace while creating meaningful, functional objects.es of your products or services.

Ceramics Workshop
€30.00
  • Duration: 1 hour 50 minutes

  • Clay: Lithuanian yellow clay – highly plastic and easy to work with, perfect for beginners and those looking to refine their skills.

  • Underglaze: Is a type of ceramic color or decoration that is applied to pottery before it’s glazed. It’s usually painted, brushed, or sponged onto leather-hard or bisque-fired clay. After that, a clear glaze is applied on top and the piece is fired in the kiln.

Perfect for Birthdays, Office Parties & Special Gatherings

This hands-on ceramics workshop is all about slowing down, getting creative, and enjoying time together. You’ll work with clay and build anything you want—from cups and bowls to sculptures or playful, abstract pieces. No experience needed.

Once your piece is finished, you’ll use underglaze paints to decorate it right away, so you can fully personalize your creation. After the workshop, I’ll glaze your piece with a clear glaze and fire it in the kiln. Once it’s ready, you can take home a finished, food-safe ceramic made entirely by you.

This workshop is perfect if you’re looking to relax, connect with art, and enjoy a mindful creative experience—whether you’re celebrating a birthday, hosting a team event, or just spending quality time together.

About

My name is Tėja , I am a ceramics student, currently studying ceramics at university, where I am continuously exploring clay through a wide range of techniques and approaches. My studies have allowed me to deepen both my technical knowledge and my relationship with the material — from experimenting with different forming methods to understanding structure, surface, and durability. This education builds on a lifelong connection to art, as I have been creating since childhood.

My work is centered around functional ceramics made to be used every day. When creating, my main priorities are durability, functionality, and aesthetics — pieces that feel good in the hands, hold up over time, and quietly elevate the spaces they live in.

I see ceramics as a form of functional art — objects that become part of daily rituals: a morning coffee, a shared meal, a moment of pause. My intention is to bring a sense of beauty and thoughtfulness into everyday life, making art something that is not only observed, but lived with.

Each piece is made slowly, by hand, with attention to form, balance, and use — designed to become a lasting part of your home.
