Handbuilding class

€25.00
  • Duration: 1 hour 50 minutes

  • Clay: Lithuanian yellow clay – high plasticity and easy to work with, perfect for beginners and those looking to refine their skills.

These handbuilding ceramics classes are centered around slow, hands-on work with clay in a calm and supportive environment. It is important to me to create a space where you can fully relax, focus, and be present in the moment, allowing the making process to unfold naturally.

Rather than following fixed exercises, the classes are idea-led. You are encouraged to bring your own ideas, and based on them, I will guide you toward the handbuilding technique that suits your project best — whether that is slab building, pinch pots, coiling, or modeling.

Throughout the process, I support you individually, helping with form, structure, and technical decisions. You will also learn the basics of working with clay — how it responds to touch, drying, heat, and firing — and how these factors influence durability and function.

The classes are suitable for both beginners and more experienced makers, offering space to explore clay at your own pace while creating meaningful, functional objects.es of your products or services.
